What we do

Understanding the implications of your data often involves building detailed mathematical models. This is true whether you are designing the next big breakthrough in biotech or designing low latency communication networks. However, these mathematical models can be computationally expensive taking hours or even days to run, often with thousands of free parameters. Studying the relationship between these parameters is incredibly challenging, and connecting your model to data is often impossible.

One way around this is to use neural networks to emulate the relationship between the model and parameters of interest whether that is the amount of a drug being produced in an expression assay or the layout of an array of antennas. These surrogate models can be trained with a few hundred or thousands of simulations to replicate the output of your complex model in milliseconds unlocking your research and allowing you to explore in greater detail the relationship between your parameters and model.

After an initial consultation, we’ll provide you with a plan and timeline that we agree on together. Throughout the duration of a project, we work closely with clients to make sure we are on the right track. We favour transparency and explain everything we are doing at each step in terms you can understand, and we work with a small number of clients at a time to make sure every project gets proper attention. At the end of the project we make sure you have access to everything you need to reproduce what we have done including detailed documentation and code.
